Manchester City is prepared to offer the 26-year-old a £250,000-a-week five-year contract in an attempt to persuade their skipper to stay at City.
However, Argentina striker Carlos Tevez is suffering from homesickness, he told The People: “Will I leave the Premier League? It is possible, but I don’t have a fixed date.”
Also Tevez says: “he expects to be recuperated by the time the Manchester derby, the match is very important for me and the club,” the derby will be Wednesday night.
Carlos Tevez has scored 30 times in 44 Premier League matches.
